Biography
Professional Photographer | Creative Educator | Founder of Mosa Creative Academy
Petrus Sikhosana is a professional photographer, creative educator and founder of Mosa Creative Academy, where he is committed to helping photographers develop the skills, confidence and creative vision to create better images.
A graduate of The Photography Institute, Petrus holds a Diploma in Professional Photography and an Advanced Certificate in Portraiture. His passion lies particularly in portraiture, where he combines light, composition, emotion and storytelling to create meaningful imagery.
Teaching philosophy
“You don't always need a better camera. You need to become a better photographer.”
Through Mosa Creative Academy, Petrus is turning that philosophy into practical, accessible photography education — helping aspiring photographers master their craft, understand their equipment and discover their own visual voice.
Teaching philosophy
Teach the eye first, the camera second. Every learner should be able to explain why they made a photograph the way they did — the settings follow the intention, never the other way around. Feedback should be honest, specific and encouraging, because photographers grow fastest when they know exactly what to fix next.
Why MOSA was created
Too many talented photographers in our communities stall because structured teaching means travelling to Gauteng or paying fees they cannot justify. MOSA was created to close that gap: proper structure, real assessment and personal mentorship, delivered where learners already are.
Founder message
"I don't want you to leave MOSA knowing your camera. I want you to leave knowing how you see — and being able to prove it with your work."
— Petrus Mosa Sikhosana
