MOSA is intentionally a small, focused photography academy. Photographers learn differently when they have the opportunity to ask questions, receive individual guidance, practise what they've learned and receive meaningful feedback on their work.

MOSA exists to provide another option — structured, practical photography education designed to be accessible without compromising on quality.

Photography isn't mastered by memorising camera settings.
It's developed through understanding, experimentation and repetition. At MOSA, lessons are designed to move beyond theory. You'll learn the principles, apply them with your camera, complete practical assignments and use your photographs as part of the learning process. Because the ultimate measure of your progress isn't how many notes you've taken — it's what you can create.

Petrus Mosa Sikhosana
Photographer, teacher and the person behind every lesson at MOSA. His teaching comes out of client work — portraits, weddings and community photography — and the habits that make that work repeatable.
Certification
An independent academy with structured, assessed programmes
MOSA Creative Academy is an independent photography academy. Our programmes are structured and assessed, and successful students receive a MOSA Creative Academy Certificate of Completion. MOSA currently makes no claim of accreditation by a university, SETA or other external accreditation body.
